- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven & Pan
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage (or Bacon)
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Drain excess grease and set aside.
- If using bacon, cook until crispy, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3: Roll Out the Crescent Dough
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Seal any seams to create a solid dough base.
Step 4: Prepare the Egg Mixture
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in cream cheese and maple syrup for extra flavor (optional).
Step 5: Assemble the Casserole
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage (or bacon) evenly over the crescent dough.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage.
- Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Step 6: Bake & Serve
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
